Explore the crossover between art and music, as well as the work of artists who make art using sound and space instead of more traditional tools. Create, collaborate, and participate in making music and other natural and invented sounds a part of the art you imagine and build. Students have the opportunity to see and hear the instrument created by Chris Kallmyer and installed in the Museum galleries—and may even be part of the performance!

The Bond Bright Program invites everyone in the Santa Barbara community to come support the Braille Athletes and Bond Members at Nite Moves 5K on Wednesday, June 26th at 6:30pm, at Leadbetter Beach.

All skill levels are invited to experience the tradition of sketching from original works of art in current exhibitions. Museum Teaching Artists provide general guidance and all materials. Each program is open to 10 participants.

Breast Cancer Resource Center Health Education Lecture: "Advances in the Treatment of Breast Cancer Related Lymphedema".
This free lecture is open to the public and will include a question and answer section.

Join Patrick Melroy and Friends as they lead a workshop in "Chris Kallmyer: Ensemble." Visitors are invited to learn more about the exhibition and participate in hands-on music-making activities. All ages are welcome

"Ensemble" is a multi-media installation by artist Chris Kallmyer. Central to the exhibition is a specially fabricated, communal bell-ringing instrument that serves as a resource for communal activities.

Patrick Melroy currently maintains a studio practice in the city of Santa Barbara, California. Melroy’s practice exists most often as interactive objects and experiences designed to engage an audience. His work has appeared in shows from Belgrade Serbia to Los Angeles. He was a founding member of the influential Uppur Bunk Collaborative and a charter member of Bottled Lightning Projects.
