Students (ages 10-25), parents, caregivers, and teachers are invited to learn from our Non-Profit Panel of 20+ SB County organizations about how students can create meaningful ways to volunteer and do community service.
Evidence shows volunteering helps people manage stress, feel connected, and increases self-confidence. Completing community service hours is more than checking a box off the to-do list… it’s learning about the joy of volunteering, learning new skills, and an opportunity to grow and discover new passions.
You will hear from all of the organizations during our virtual webinar and it will be followed by a Q&A where you can post your questions in the chat. Find out which areas of interest (animals, arts & culture, homelessness, environment & science, education, camps, elderly) are meaningful to you.
You will also be provided with a list of volunteer opportunities for the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
FREE. Spanish interpretation Provided. REGISTER FOR ZOOM MEETING AT: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_uqC7Zk4ATMmMzFlrM8Ktcg#/registration>
