They have assembled a stellar band, and there may be some special guests dropping in as well. Ken Stacey is a world-class vocalist songwriter, producer, vocal coach, and the former lead singer for 5-time Grammy-nominated Ambrosia. His expansive career includes time in the Michael Jackson and Elton John bands, performing and recording with a who’s who of music icons which also include Billy Joel, Sam Smith, Randy Newman, Dave Matthews Band, Queen Latifah, Mary J Blige, and Madonna. He has performed on the Grammys and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Awards. Ken has been a vocal coach and talent scout for American Idol and has Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx, and Jason Derlatka (Journey) on his vocal coaching roster. “Ken’s latest project was an all-star version of Donny Hathaway’s classic holiday song “This Christmas,” which he produced and arranged for The Tribe; it was listed as #5 on the New York Times’ holiday playlist of “12 New Christmas Songs For a Vast Array of Holiday Moods!” www.kenstacey.com

Claire Khodara is a recording artist, autism activist, and creative entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, CA. Known for her soulful and soaring sound inspired by folk and Americana icons Brandi Carlisle & Bonnie Raitt, Claire transcends musical genres with her classical background and modern, sultry vocals which span an international, 25-year career. Born in Philadelphia, Claire studied classical opera under the legendary Italian soprano and opera director Renata Scotto at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, one of the oldest musical institutions in the world. Claire was the Pope’s Benediction singer (soprano soloist) for Pope John Paul II and Benedict XVI. She was also a contestant on Season 9 of American Idol. Theater Premieres Historic ‘Flying A Fantasy’

The Westmont College Festival Theatre brings Santa Barbara’s treasured cinematic history to the stage in a world premiere. “Diamond to Dust: a Flying A Fantasy,” directed by Westmont’s John Blondell and written by local actor, educator and playwright Michael Bernard, explores the silent film industry and its historical significance. Westmont’s Porter Theatre hosts performances February 24-25, March 2-4 at 7:30 p.m.; and March 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets, which cost $15 for general admission, and $10 for students and seniors, will be available at westmont.edu/boxoffice.
