MCASB is proud to present Footprints, a group exhibition by the 2022 Teen Arts Collective (TAC) cohort. As the global ecological footprint continues to grow at an alarming rate, these six young artists have united to explore environmental issues that not only affect them personally but also speak to the current state of affairs in their local and global communities. Addressing topics such as sustainability and the human impacts of climate change, Footprints provides a glimpse into each artist's individual journeys of environmental awareness and accountability. TAC comprises six students from Santa Barbara, spanning several different schools and grade levels.

MCASB Teen Arts Collective (TAC) is a hands-on program that makes the contemporary art world accessible for Santa Barbara students ages 15-18. Over the course of the program, TAC members develop visual literacy skills, strengthen leadership abilities, and begin cultivating their own creative networks through exposure to practicing artists and arts institutions in the Santa Barbara and Los Angeles areas.

This nondenominational Full Moon meditation program is open to both novice and experienced meditators. The program will offer concise and practical meditation instruction and will provide all of the spiritual tools needed to establish a powerful meditation practice.

Workzones Santa Barbara is holding an experiential workshop on techniques to increase confidence and embrace who you are.

A dozen Santa Barbara artists, most from the Mesa Artists Studio Tour, will show their work for sale in an extraordinary historic garden on the Mesa. Artists and their work will be tucked in among secluded nooks in the shady, hundred-year-old garden at 403 Loma Alta Drive which once belonged to well-known artist, Carl Oscar Borg.
Artwork on display will range from Poppy Jewett’s exuberant, bright paintings, to Sara Woodburn’s intricate woodcut prints, Wendy Brewer’s inspiring mosaics, and Sherri West’s sculptural basketry.
