Ceylon International Film Festival (CEYIFF) is the first-ever Sri Lankan Film Festival organized outside of Sri Lanka. CEYIFF is dedicated to presenting International and Sri Lankan Cinema to film lovers. We are committed to promoting new filmmakers’ projects and showcasing their films to international audiences. Our mission is to screen independent films of all genres from all around the world.

The educational arm of the organization focuses on providing scholarships and other benefits to the filmmakers with the objective of encouraging them to strive in the filmmaking industry. Further, the educational arm also offers courses and training programs to help them sharpen the saw, using modern tools and innovations.

- Join us for the second annual Paddle Out for SBMM fundraiser on Saturday, June 11, from 1:00-4:00 pm at Leadbetter Beach. The community is invited to participate by sponsoring the event or a paddler, paddling out with us (on a self-powered craft), watching from the shore, and attending the opening ceremony. Attendees will enjoy delicious food from Romanti-Ezer, hear surf music by the Wrinkled Teenagers, and have the opportunity to join in beach games and crafts. Once again, this multi-generational event will be launched by our Honorary Chair, surf legend Shaun Tomson, leading all of the paddlers into the water.

Santa Barbara Music Club Final Scholarship Showcase Concert of 2022

Full Moon Meditation, next Saturday, June 11. This is a nondenominational event and novice and experienced meditation practitioners are both very welcome to attend. Participants will learn all aspects of meditation posture, breath control and use of a mantra of their choice.

Monthly Public Star Party at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History

After more than two years of research and planning, the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History proudly opens its new summer exhibit Rare Earth on Saturday, June 11 in Fleischmann Auditorium. 

Learn how to pickle veggies and fruit this Saturday from 10-12pm with Lisa Cousins at Trinity Gardens.
