Learn how to pickle veggies and fruit this Saturday from 10-12pm with Lisa Cousins at Trinity Gardens. Cost is $25 per person and each person will take home 2 half pint jars, one of veggies and one of fruit. Please RSVP by June 9th to 805-455-0860. Phillip Hockley, a practitioner of Christian Science healing and international speaker, will give a free talk on how Christian Science gave him a new view of God as Love itself, divine Love that loved him fully. He also discovered that this loving God was not the source of his troubles but the solution to them. His life began to improve quickly, and he became a healthy man.
Hockley now speaks to audiences all over the world on Christian Science, introducing its core principles. He will present his talk, “A new view of God and its effect on well-being,” on Saturday, June 11 at 11 a.m. Those interested can watch online individually or in-person with others in Solvang.
