The Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival (SBSGOAF) is having an Instagram silent auction from October 11-18, with 100% of the proceeds going to @sbmaritimemuseum. The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum has been closed for the duration of the pandemic and may not be able to reopen until the end of the year. UCSB Chamber Orchestra and Choirs

Under the direction of Maxim Kuzin, the UCSB Chamber Orchestra and UCSB choirs will present a special joint performance dedicated to the memory of UCSB Music alumna Dr. Linda Shaver-Gleason on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 7:30 pm in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall. The concert will feature the UCSB Women's Chorus (directed by Graduate Assistant Valdis Jansons) performing works by Orlande de Lassus, William Boyce, Gioacchino Rossini, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Luigi Denza, as well as the UCSB Chamber Orchestra in a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Egmont Overture. The UCSB Chamber Orchestra will also be joined by the UCSB Chamber Choir for a performance of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, Op. 48

FREE Acting Class: The Urge to Act

THE URGE TO ACT in an acting class at SBCC School of Extended Learning that takes place on Tuesday evenings at the Wake Center and on Thursday evenings at the Schott Center.
