The Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival (SBSGOAF) is having an Instagram silent auction from October 11-18, with 100% of the proceeds going to @sbmaritimemuseum. The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum has been closed for the duration of the pandemic and may not be able to reopen until the end of the year. Explore the crossover between art and music, as well as the work of artists who make art using sound and space instead of more traditional tools. Create, collaborate, and participate in making music and other natural and invented sounds a part of the art you imagine and build. Students have the opportunity to see and hear the instrument created by Chris Kallmyer and installed in the Museum galleries—and may even be part of the performance!
