Isn’t drivers side window tinting illegal in CA?
It is illegal for the front and driver/passenger side to be tinted. Super unsafe for walkers and bikers when the driver/passenger sides are tinted. Would love it if you reconsidered. And everyone else for that matter. Thanks.
Judging from the sheer number of very dark windows, whatever laws exist aren’t heavily enforced.
Tinted windows in the front of a vehicle make it unsafe for pedestrians, other motorists and the police when they approach the car for enforcement purposes. The people with these dark front windows know it is illegal. They are aggressively ignoring a law that others comply with in the public good. There should be more enforcement, not less. If I were in law enforcement I would order everyone out of such vehicles for any traffic stop before I approached the car.
Dark tinted widows in the front side windows are a danger to pedestrians, other drivers and law enforcement. This violation should be vigorously prosecuted by law enforcement as a basic safety issue to their personal security. Congratulations to the officer who was/is doing this. People who have such tinting done, an those who install such tinting are basically either anti-social, greedy or just egotistical.
