I seem to see a lot of people using Mammoth Movers here in town. I looked up the info for you. Lots of 5-star reviews:
Mammoth Movers
Address: 5390 Overpass Rd Suite E, Santa Barbara, CA 93111
Phone: (805) 968-8643
Local moving companies are con artists colluding on minimum hours to move you across town. Moved our business twice locally and it’s the same each time. Ridiculous hours quoted for simple move. I started renting a uhaul truck, boxing and securing important items myself and hiring 3-4 guys off of the wall. These guys all want to work, make money and put food on the table. Careful hard workers. Job done quicker, done well and for a lot less money.
Yeti – not arguing with your opinion on local movers since I have no experience there, but of course guys who have no business expenses nor pay taxes are going to be cheaper…
