Woman and Dog Safe After Mobile Home Fire

A Los Alamos woman and her dog safely evacuated their mobile home from a fire on Sunday.

At 3:20 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to 9278 Rancho Alamo mobile home park for a report of a structure fire. They discovered a double-wide mobile home fully involved in flames. 

The residents of the home, a woman and her dog, had safely evacuated prior to firefighter’s arrival. Crews were able to knock down the fire within 25 minutes and prevented damage to other nearby homes. 

An investigator is determining the cause of the fire.
