I’m a Mesa Resident, about 3-4 blocks from City College on the mountain side of cliff drive. I kept hearing what sounded like a large crowd and cheering on Friday night.
I’m too far away from the stadium at CC, so it must be from the apartment buildings. Does anyone know what the occasion is? The cheering and activity has been going on for 1-2 hours already and it’s past 9 pm.
Maybe Trevor Noah at the bowl?
Graduation week?
my dog and i were walking through the Mesa to Shoreline Park, the applause and cheering is common when we do this. it’s normal, we’re used to it
