Be on the lookout (BOLO) for weapons taken from a vehicle on the north side of town off State Street. The weapons taken were 4 crossbows, a Remington .12 gauge shotgun, a 50 Caliber muzzle loader, and a .22 Ruger pistol.

When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns …. and knives and bows and arrows….
Oh for —–sake. How stupid are people nowadays, anyway?
Curmudgeon: Shame on anyone so witless as to be driving around with an armory of weapons and then parking, leaving the vehicle unattended. Full-on moron.
A good example of someone who probably shouldn’t have access to weapons…
Just another responsible gun owner.
A-1520121419 – Yes, my implication precisely.
Attack the victim, that’s SB these days.
+1 for Howard Roark.
Santa Barbara can ALWAYS be counted on to attack the victim and coddle the criminal. And that is precisely why Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Isla Vista are in the shape they’re in.
If they ever do catch the perp, I’m sure they’ll take him/her to city college and give them some hot chocolate in a safe room while they process the paperwork for all their free stuff, including voter registration forms.
Duh; who leaves weapons in a vehicle? Foolish. Reckless.
Just another responsible gun owner.
What, no hand grenades too?
If the F-150 wasn’t broken into, then shame on the owner!
Do the police serve the hot chocolate or do they give it to you in jail? The only thing I ever got in jail was soap on a rope.
Should the owner have transported them responsibly and kept them in sight at all times? Hell, yes! Obviously, this was not the case, but gun worshipers can justify any sort of behavior.
I always carry medications in my pickup truck that can kill at a distance with a single pill, and tubes of ointment that come in handy for holdups. I like them because they’re so much quieter than firearms.
I’d actually like to see if they are indeed served Hot Chocolate do you have any real proof of this or are you just spewing as usual?
I wonder what kind of Rx you need, and at what dosage levels, to make NRA policies seem rational.
WHO drives around with weapons like that in their CAR?!?!?! FFS. Stupid in the first place. Someone obviously knew that the person had them in there. Guns are stupid. We need gun reform in this country NOW. And this does NOT prove that only criminals will have guns if they are outlawed. There are arguments from the other side too, a “good guy with a gun” does NOT always stop a “bad guy with a gun”.
Just another responsible gun owner.
The first time these folks ever cared about a “victim”.
Attack the victim? Thanks for a great laugh.
Should s/he have transported them in a backpack on foot or some other way that only you approve of? What if this person had their Rx medicine stolen from their truck… would you still blame them for being the victim of theft?
