A vehicle went off Highway 101 southbound and landed on the railroad tracks just north of Padaro Lane. It was struck by an Amtrak train heading northbound.

I remain surprised Union Pacific even runs trains through this area, considering the hazards, delays, disrupted services and unhappy consumers our chronic local interferences cause their business operations.
There are so many Prius drivers around here hard to tell..
