Vehicle Fire Spreads to Brush Near Sisquoc

A vehicle fire spread to nearby brush in the Sisquoc area on Thursday.

At 11:21 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the 6400 block of Palmer Road for a reported fire.

Crews found a charred vehicle and an active vegetation fire moving at a slow rate of spread.

Within thirty minutes, the fire was confined to under a quarter of an acre.

Crews will remain on the scene for mop-up.
