A vehicle has crashed over the side of Highway 101 near Summerland and landed on the railroad tracks.

The collision took place just before 8:00 a.m. Saturday when a silver Nissan sedan went over the roadway and landed on its roof.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports there are four occupants who are all out of the vehicle. A Good Samaritan stopped on the right-hand side of the road to help.

The Montecito Fire Department is on the scene and with several emergency vehicles on the side of the road.
