Vehicle Crashes 50 Feet Over Side of Highway 101 at Nojoqui Summit

A vehicle crashed approximately 50-feet over the side of Highway 101 near the Nojoqui Summit on Friday morning.

At 8:57 a.m. Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to southbound lanes and discovered a single vehicle had crashed over the side of the highway.

There were four occupants inside the vehicle. A 20-year-old female sustained minor injuries. The victim was transported by ground ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Units will remain on the scene. Highway 101 southbound lanes are currently open.
