Vehicle Burglary Arrest Caught on Video

Santa Maria Police Dept (Edhat)

On January 17, 2024 at 0400 hours SMPD officers conducted an operation to curb vehicle burglaries at local hotels in the area of 2100 North Preisker Lane. Officers witnessed a subject walk up to a hotel guests’ vehicle, break a window, and take property from the vehicle. The subject rode off on his bicycle and as officers attempted to stop him, he fled and was captured.

Arthur Martinez Pichardo, age 42, was arrested and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for vehicle burglary and resisting arrest.

The stolen property was returned to the victim.

      Of course he went to jail. Did you even read the article? It says he did.

      Look, the constant crying about CA is exhausting. Nothing is forcing you folks to live here. Why torment yourself AND pay ridiculous prices for housing, etc? If I hated a place so much that all my comments were about how bad it was, guess what I would do? Move.
