Make these illegal camping sites “unpopular”.
City Council diverted Measure C money to permanently house all the transient arsonists in the Rose Garden Motel. How could it be another vagrant camp fire? They are all now under 24 hour “support services” care provided by Measure C funded Homeless Inc. Measure C money was supposed to be spent improving this city; not allowing even more arsonists to come here, set up camp and keep burning us down. Something is not working – money is spent and we are getting even worse results.
The city’s mutually beneficial trade-off providing free housing and support for would-be vagrant arsonists at the Rose Garden is apparently non-existent. In exchange, at a minimum we should now expect no more public camping, no more open fires, no more waterway pollution, no litter, no dumping no more bike chop shops in any of our public spaces. And the expectations all of this will be enforced by both fire and police forces. Notice how unbalanced our city council actions continue to be – give vagrants everything they demand at every increasing costs to taxpayers, and get NOTHING in return, except more vagrants making even more demands and continual threats to our public health and safety. We provided the allegedly required “alternative housing” for arsonist-prone vagrants ,and we got NOTHING in return. Except more money down the drain and demands to make this a permanent program. That absurdity has to stop — yesterday.
