Sheriff’s out looking for the dude he must be hiding..
Isn’t the cemetery near the Creekside war veterans from the Civil war?…Potters Field is a fenced in area on Dump road near Cathedral Oaks buried there are some of the first residents of Santa Barbara I guess they were poor or they’d be in the Santa Barbara Cemetery…We really should honor our history here even in the old days people were crapped on.
Planned burns and pruning not allowed is the problem? Managing vegetation? Are you on the same drugs as the “houseless neighbors”?
We never had any of those things in the residential and commercial areas of Santa Barbara, Noleta and Goleta. Want to know what else we didn’t have? “Houseless neighbor” fires!
Enough with the “clear the underbrush” nonsense! There has always been underbrush. It’s just when our local municipal leaders put out the welcome mat for every “houseless neighbor” to come in and settle that the fires started.
The underbrush is there for reasons. It is a sound barrier for the homes by the freeway, it is a habitat for wildlife, it cools things down, it produces oxygen, it prevents erosion, all positives.
Want to know what isn’t there for a reason other than Homeless Inc. and is not a positive in any way? “Houseless neighbors”! Without them, these fires would be minimal to non-existent.
It is time to stop putting the blame on the underbrush and clearly define who is causing the problem and do something about it.
Also, again, it is not the average homeless that are causing these fires, it is the trouble starters that I call “houseless neighbors” and we know who these are.
See what happens when the Liquor stores close..
So it was 1 of our “houseless neighbors” again? Of course it was! By the way, PLEASE don’t call it a “homeless camp”! Call it a vagrant station. The true homeless don’t do this kind of stuff!
