Vandenberg Rare Dual Missile Launch

We were driving out to Figueroa Mountain [Monday] to see the wildflowers. As we got out near Gaviota we saw what looked like someone had written “22” in the sky with a sky writing airplane.
Here are some photos I took.
This was the first view on Highway 101 near the Gaviota Tunnel
As we meandered on our way to Figueroa Mountain the unusual pattern stayed in the sky
I found out later it was a rare dual missile launch from Vandenberg. A test of a missile defense system. Quite an unusual sight!
