From the Parade Announcer’s Script…
“If you are sitting on the curb, please keep your feet in when there are horses present. It will really, really hurt if a horse steps on your foot, and it has happened in the past. ”
According to a number of the parade announcers, the red-vested volunteers don’t do much except stand and watch the parade.
Do you know horses? They are prey animals and can move, change direction, and cover a lot of distance in a flash. Way to assume bad parenting. Also, I believe it was the child’s arm, not leg. She’s four.
how is this bad parenting? it’s an accident…nothing more. don’t make more out of it and don’t blame the parents. that’s just lame…
