UCSB to Close Campus Beaches

Campus Beaches Closed April 2-4, April 9-11; Parking Restrictions in Effect at UC Santa Barbara

In continued cooperation with Santa Barbara County and the City of Goleta, UC Santa Barbara will close campus beaches April 2-4 and April 9-11.

In addition, no overnight parking will be allowed on the UC Santa Barbara campus Friday and Saturday, April 2 and 3. More information about parking restrictions is available at Transportation & Parking Services.

  1. Normally I’d be right there with you but this time they’re closing the beaches around UCSB due to Deltopia. Had they hosted this event responsibly in the past, and didn’t completely trash the beach and ocean, they wouldn’t be in this position.
