Two Victims Assaulted During Fight at Large Party

Detectives are investigating a large fight that erupted at a party and resulted in two victims being assaulted with a deadly weapon. At 12:45 a.m. this morning, Sheriff’s deputies, along with fire and medics responded to the 2000-block of N. San Marcos Road for a 911 call of victims who had been injured in a fight.

When deputies arrived, they learned that the home was a vacation rental and two people had been attacked with a weapon and were being treated at a local hospital. Detectives and Forensics Technicians responded to the scene and are continuing the investigation. 

Details of the fight, including the type of weapon, and suspect identity are being withheld as the incident is further investigated. The victims are expected to recover.

At approximately 12:45 am, Sheriffs, Medics, and County Fire were dispatched to reports of multiple stabbings at a party in the 2000 block of North San Marcos Road.  

As of 1:10 am, several victims have been located outside the residence and are being treated by EMTs. The severity of injuries is not reported as yet. No suspect information is available at this time.  

The residence of the party is being cleared at this time, prior to entry of medical personnel in the event there are more victims.
