Two people sustained injuries in vehicle crash near Los Alamos on Wednesday evening.
At 10:43 p.m., Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to northbound lanes of Highway 101, just north of Los Alamos, and discovered a two-vehicle collision.
A pickup truck and sedan had collided causing two adult males in the truck to sustain minor injuries. They were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The solo adult male in the sedan denied transport to the hospital.
The roadway was shut down for over thirty minutes as crews removed the vehicles from the highway.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
Wow, what a crash. Glad no one was seriously hurt. In the middle of nowhere, too, where it takes time for responders to locate the injured.
