Two Injured in Traffic Collision Near Los Alamos

Two people were injured following a traffic collision on Highway 101 just north of Los Alamos Sunday morning.

Around 9:00 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Cat Canyon Road for a two-vehicle collision.

One person from each vehicle sustained moderate injuries but no extrication was needed, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department (SBCFD).

Both patients were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by California Highway Patrol.
