On Saturday, 10/30/2021 at about 2242 hours, SMPD Officers responded to the 200 block of West Boone Street to the report of shots fired. Officers checked the area and located a crime scene near the 200 block of West Orange.
A short time later, one adult male (18) and one juvenile male (16) arrived at Marian Hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The SMPD Detective Bureau and Crime Lab responded to assist in the investigation. It is unknown at this point if the incident is gang related.
