Two Injured in Highway 246 Collision

Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 246 Saturday morning. 

At 6:04 a.m., crews arrived on the scene in front of the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez and discovered a vehicle with major damage. 

There were two patients with injuries, a juvenile with moderate to major injuries and an adult with moderate injuries. There was no exrication required and both patients were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by ground ambulances.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
