Two Injured in Highway 166 Traffic Rollover Near Cuyama

One adult and one juvenile sustained injuries from a vehicle rollover on Highway 166 near Cuyama.

At 10:40 p.m., Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to the area, approximately 30 miles west of New Cuyama.

Crews discovered a sedan had rolled over with two people inside, an adult male and a female juvenile.

The male sustained major injuries and was transported by Air Support Unit Helicopter 3 to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The female juvenile sustained minor injuries and was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance.

The cause of the rollover is under investigation.
