Tunnel Trail Waterfall

By Bob

Following Monday’s significant rain I captured this photo from my home on the Mesa during the afternoon. It looks like a version of Yosemite Falls: wide and cascading hundreds of feet.

This waterfall is named “Mission Falls”, and sits immediately downstream from where Mission Creek crosses Tunnel Trail, on the flank of White Mountain.   Mission Falls is a separate feature from Seven Falls, the latter being located about ½ mile downstream of the former.
