Here’s a good photo of the fire last night while I waited for PD/FD to show up, taken from the backside of Tileco on Lawrence St. at about 12:45.

How could it be a homeless encampment? I thought that all of the vagrant campers had been moved to the Rose Motel at a cost of $2 million to the taxpayers.
9314 – All moved to the Rose except one. Someone said they were an arsonist:)
Homeless Inc just bragged new campers are setting up in the old cleared camp sites with the intent to cause trouble, just so they too can get free housing at the Rose Garden Motel. Another massive Santa Barbara Homeless Inc fail – and so quickly. Funding “wrap around” staffers full employment should not be the only criteria for success of these failed programs. 100% elimination of vagrant camps permanently and sending a large no vacancy message to one and all is the only criteria for success.
