Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a fallen tree on a Santa Maria home Friday morning.

At 11:43 a.m., crews responded to the 200 block of Deer Run and discovered an 80-100 foot eucalyptus tree crashed into a single-story residence.

There were no injuries but major damage to the residence, according to the County Fire Department.

The Red Cross has been notified to help the displaced family and the building will be inspected.
