No no no. Her last name was Park. Not Keck. Poor Alice!! It’s Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden.
I don’t know a single local from my time that ever said anything other than “Alice Keck Park” or just “Alice Keck” when referring to the park we played in almost every day.
True, longterm residents just call it Alice Keck. Who wants to take the time to say Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens in conversation?
