Around 10:30a this morning [Sunday], Santa Barbara Police set up a perimeter to make an arrest near Milpas and Ortega Streets and 700-800 blocks of Milpas.
SBPD were searching for a white male adult suspected of committing numerous burglaries. They were able to detain the suspect and bring him into custody, name and charges are not available.
If you were in the area and saw a bunch of police this is why.
It was raining at the time… and per the Palm:
“The suspect was barely responsive and covered in some kind of paint type substances and there was evidence that fire extinguishers were shot off.”

The Palm has more photos on Facebook. This guy is a total mess. Kind of feel bad for him. Hope he gets the help he needs while he serves time for his crimes!
TRANS – lol good question! Technically though, I said I hope he gets help, not that he serves time, so it is likely one of our resident anti-empathy (ie, anti-“woke”) readers.
Hi again SacJon!
It’s funny, I wonder if that person downvoted your comment because you said you kinda feel bad for the guy, or because you said you hope he serves time for a crime. What a world. 🙂
Someone stole my sandals outta my truck you think maybe he’d have them?
