Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a reported vehicle crash and fire in Santa Maria on Thursday evening.
At 6:46 p.m. crews arrived in the area of Village Drive and S. Bradley Road and discovered a gray sedan crashed into a wall and transformer box.
The sedan’s engine caught fire following the collision and was contained to the engine compartment upon arrival of the first unit on the scene.
Due to the collision, power was knocked out in the area. PG&E was on the scene and worked to restore power to the neighborhood.
There were no injuries.
