  1. Speed bumps/humps only exacerbate the problem. The ones on W. Valerio, for instance, are designed to be driven comfortably at 25 MPH; however, many, many drivers slow to 5-10 MPH, negotiate the bump, accelerate to 20-25, and then slow way down again for the next one, forcing everyone behind them to jam on their brakes. Speed bumps are not only useless, they make the situation worse than it is.
