On Saturday, at 5:13 p.m., a male driver was struck in the 5700 block of Calle Real.

According to the driver of a gray Lexus sedan, they were attempting to make a left away from the Albertsons parking lot on Calle Real near the 5700 block in Goleta. Two vehicles were approaching the entrance to the parking lot in the right lane when the first slowed to enter by making a right turn into the lot at the Calle Real Shopping Center.

A white Scion, trailing just behind the first car, reportedly, suddenly changed lanes and thus T-Boned the grey sedan making a left across the number two eastbound lane.

The white Scion SUV traveling east plowed in to the middle section of the driver’s side causing extensive damage. The driver of the Lexus initially reported not feeling any serious injuries. The actual condition of any of the parties involved is unknown.
