A man was arrested for slashing tires in the big 5 parking lot at 5 points shopping center Saturday evening. A family was sitting in their car when a man came up and punctured the right front tire.. Some of the family members jumped out of the Toyota 4 runner and the suspect backed off, yet stayed on the scene as police quickly arrived.
Another vehicle of few parking spots away already had all 4 tires slashed, this may have been the actual suspect’s own vehicle.
The suspect made threatening hand gestures (gun-to-head-fingers) to another shopper who immediately moved his car.
The Suspect was taken into custody for psychiatric evaluation.
Wacko – go straight to jail, do not pass GO.

I concur with Detective FondOfSB, this has all the makings of the Reefer Madness. How are upstanding citizens supposed to sleep at night knowing raving lunatics are injecting the devil lettuce and ordering an XL stuffed crust pepperoni pizza and BBQ wings from the Milpas Little Caesar’s? Someone needs to stop them!

FOND – that’s not true at all. I’ve read of people doing crazier things than slashing tires here and not being drug addicts. You have little to no understanding (or compassion) for mental illness and addiction. You can have one without the other and both can be devastating.
Now, again, where does it say he consumed anything?

FOND – I never said weed can’t make you a little nutty if you already have underlying issues and smoke it all day every day. Again though, where does it say he consumned anything, much less “weed?”

There’s never even been a “weed induced” myth about a person doing so.
Has anyone ever taken a muscle relaxer?..that’s 10 X stronger than weed..& lasts longer than a “high”, with more & stronger side effects.

Sorry to burst the stoner bubble of rationalization, but marijuana use has serious deleterious effects on the mental health of anyone already prone to schizophrenia, especially younger people.
What part of “prone to” was unclear? Cannabis usage may trigger a latent condition that would have otherwise not manifested.
“Prone to” is not equivalent to “have” or “present” in most vocabularies.
You should look up latent. Not similar enough. Cannabis use can cause it to develop = have.
