What’s new about this year’s event?

- Visit our website to find a cleanup site near you.
- We have added new sites like Oak Park, San Jose Creek, and the Santa Rita Hills so there are more cleanup areas for you to choose from.
- The East Beach location near the volleyball courts will be captained by local clothing company Toad and Co. They are offering Beach Bingo and a raffle for volunteers to win prizes. The Santa Barbara Public Library’s Library On the Go Van will also be at the site with a craft table and rock painting project for kids. Volunteers at this site will also be invited to an after party at Topa Topa’s Santa Barbara Taproom from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm where 10% of beer sales will be donated to Explore Ecology.
- The Harbor/Sandspit Beach cleanup site is being co-captained by SB Fish Co, the Yacht Club, and Paddle Sports Center. They will give volunteers a voucher for a drink ticket and complimentary ceviche to be served at The Anchor Rose for a Coastal Clean Up Crew After Party. There will be live acoustic music from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the lower patio.
- Carpinteria State Beach Site Captain Ed Bell has teamed up with Buena Onda Empanadas and will offer Buena Onda discount vouchers to volunteers at their site.
