Sycamore Canyon Road Reopens Following Mudslide

[As of Wednesday morning,] this section of State Route 144 from East Yanonali Street to State Route 192 in Santa Barbara County is now open.


Sycamore Canyon Road Closes Due to Mudslide

Caltrans engineers are at this slide which closed State Route 144 from East Yanonali Street to State Route 192 in Santa Barbara County.

A reopening is based on the progress of cleanup as this slide is still moving. An opening will be shared when details are certain.

State Route 144 (Sycamore Canyon Road) is closed in both directions from near East Yanonali Street to State Route 192 due to mudslide activity.

There is no estimate for re-opening this nearly two-mile section of roadway.
