So who is she?
Awesome, glad they have such good cameras and id’d the thief!!!
At least the store had a decent surveillance camera that gives a clear picture. Someone should know this woman unless she’s from LA.
I’m sure they will soon release her name and other details
Unless that is makeup, that black and blue spot on her nose could make her stick out like a sore thumb. Sunglasses won’t be able to cover that too well… big-nosed bandit, popped in the nose thief?
Even if she isn’t local, there’s a good chance she has a ‘rap sheet’ and can be ID’d. Thieves not stealing food for themselves or family have usually made a “career” choice; usually the law-of-averages catches up. If they aren’t juvie ‘apprentices’, they have a record in some data-base. The Q becomes is that Db linked in. Out-of-state is more iffy than in-state.
In addition to her nose, she has an injury above her mouth and it looks like bruising around her eyes……just wondering if there is more to this story.
Got her. Great news. Good for nothing thief.
Those sunglasses she has on top of her head appear to be very expensive too.
I’m beginning to think that there is a cover up of her identity. She must be well-connected. It this were not so her name would have already been revealed. “Minor laps of judgement” for felony level robbery sounds like “affluenza.”
There is a lot more to this story. It’s a terrible thing that happened on so many levels to so many people. So sad for her and her family and this store owner for sure. Sometimes things happen to you that cause a breakdown. I believe this is what happened as she is one of the sweetest and kindest people. She had a major lapse in judgement and I can only attribute this to whats happened to her since the debris flow and other devastating things that happened after. I know not an excuse to do this but a quick google of depression and mental breaks might explain what has happened to cause this. I’m no doctor but it’s the only thing I can conclude has happened. She does not need to steal and completely out of character. Pray for everyone involved here, storeowner as well.
I appreciate your observation, Roger. There’s often a backstory that we readers don’t know. Too often, we make up our own.
Most folks face tragedy and hardship in their lives but don’t go to a jewelry store and grab 5 grand worth of merchandise, causing great suffering for the shop owner.
9:27 AM… too true. Nature abhors a vacuum and the mind will fill in the blanks with imaginary presumptions rather than wait for the truth to be borne out. However in these circumstances with no one actually pursuing the context of the story the public is left with make believe.
