Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a large residential structure fire on Saturday evening.
At 7:23 p.m., crews responded to a 2nd alarm Structure Fire in the 8400 block of Verda Del Padre in Goleta.
Crews encountered heavy fire upon arrival and began an aggressive internal attack coordinated with ventilation, reported Fire Captain Daniel Bertucelli.
Reports are that due to prioritizing salvage operations as the firefight was going on, much of the residents important belonging have been saved, said Bertucelli.
The fire was successfully knocked down and there were no injuries reported.
The cause is under investigation.
