Santa Barbara City Firefighters responded to a fire in the 300 block of S. Canada Street Thursday morning.
Just before 5:00 a.m. crews arrived on the scene to find smoke and fire showing from a single-story residential structure.
Crews were able to bring the fire under contorl within 15 minutes of arrival.
It’s unclear where the fire started, but the cause is under investigation.
There were no injuries.
Five cats? Is there a pet limit within the city limits?
