Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a working structure fire in Santa Ynez Friday evening.
At 8:37 p.m., crews arrived in the 100 block of Willow Circle and discovered a fire in a residential home and a fast interior attack was initiated.
One occupant with smoke inhalation was rescued as well as one dog and one cat.
Crews knocked the fire down and continued to assist residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
