Storm to Arrive Tuesday Evening

The National Weather Service (NWS) has forecast a storm arriving in Santa Barbara County, starting Tuesday night (19 March) and lasting through Wednesday.  There is a potential for lightning, however, current forecasts indicate rainfall levels will stay beneath debris flow thresholds.  The NWS and OEM will continue to monitor this storm and will let you know if the situation changes.  Please stay safe and alert for changing conditions.


El servicio metereologico nacional, National Weather Service (NWS), pronostica que llegara una tormenta al condado de Santa Barbara, empezando la noche del dia martes 19 de marzo, y durara hasta este dia miercoles.  Existen potenciales de relampagos, pero el reciente pronostico indica que los niveles de lluvia se mantendran abajo de los umbrales del flujo de escombros.  El NWS y la officina de manejamiento de emergencias (OEM) continuaran en vigilar esta tormenta y les hara saber de los cambios de la situacion.  Por favor actue con cuidado y mantengase alerta para los cambios de las condiciones.
