SR-192 Road Paving Project Continues Next Week

A project to pave a five-mile segment of State Route 192 from ½ mile east of Alamar Avenue in Santa Barbara to Cold Springs Road in Montecito will continue on Monday, Aug. 28.

• Motorists will encounter one way reversing traffic control with a pilot vehicle on State Route 192 (Sycamore Canyon Road) from Cold Spring Road in a westerly direction on Monday, Aug. 28 through Thursday Aug. 31 from 8:30 am to 3 pm.

Electronic message boards will be activated to inform motorists of this roadwork. Motorists will encounter delays not to exceed 15 minutes. 

The contractor for this $1.8 million project is C.A. Rasmussen Inc. of Valencia, CA.  This project is scheduled to be complete in mid-September.
