After being battered by the debris flows in the recent mudslide, State Route 192 remains temporarily closed in several places between Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. The Montecito mudslide caused damage to many roads and bridges. Caltrans has closed multiple bridges on SR – 192 to vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

Before you plan to visit Montecito, check out Caltrans’ map of road closures at: http://quickmap.dot.ca.gov/

Pictured are bridges from multiple locations throughout the Montecito area.
