The nomination period has opened for candidates filing to run for the Third District Councilmember seat in the City of Santa Barbara. This seat will be filled via the June 5, 2018 Consolidated Special Municipal Election.
The nomination period is open from February 12, 2018 – March 9, 2018. Candidates should contact the City Clerk’s office at 805-564-5309 to schedule an appointment to receive candidacy documents. The City Clerk’s office is located at Santa Barbara City Hall at 735 Anacapa Street.
Could a recall election for Murillo be held at the same time? That seems to be the only answer to our ongoing civic nightmare.
