At 1.45 miles from the Boathouse there is smoke coming out of the ground at various points in the shale. The ground is hot and charred. Anyone know what’s going on? No tar like in Carpinteria.

Geologic activity. Time to learn about living right on top of the Ring of Fire. Plus it may be a consequence of no more oil drilling releasing this underground molten organic build up.
They need to get the Venoco Oil Rigs back online in order to capture the abundance of crude oil that exists, in order to reduce sub-surface oil pressures that causes increase of natural oil seepage North of Jalama south of SB, as you’ll notice when you take two steps on the sand and look at the bottom of your feet…
There was also a report of”green comet” in the sky at around the same time. The Green Lantern has been known to land on beaches this close to Hollywood. Just sayin…
