Small Fire Off Turnpike Exit

Report of fire and smoke near Highway 101 northbound closest to Turnpike Road exit (3:20p Tuesday).

Driver called dispatch to report seeing the smoke and flames.

CHP stated this is on Calle Real “between State Street and Turnpike” but I’m unclear what that means.

Turned out to be a smoking vehicle with fire possibly spreading to nearby brush.
